Mixed Reality/VR/AR/Latest Technology

VIRTUAL REALITY(VR)

Virtual Reality (VR) is a technology that creates a computer-generated environment that feels real and immersive to the user. It uses special devices like headsets and controllers to simulate a virtual world that you can see, hear, and interact with.

When you put on a VR headset, it completely covers your eyes and often your ears too, blocking out the real world. Inside the headset, you’ll see a three-dimensional world that may look like a game, a movie, or any other virtual experience. As you move your head or body, the virtual world moves accordingly, giving you a sense of being present in that environment.

The headset usually has built-in screens that display the virtual world, and the images are adjusted in real-time based on your movements, making it feel like you’re actually inside the virtual space. Some VR systems also have motion-tracking sensors that detect your hand movements and allow you to interact with objects or control the virtual world using special controllers.

AUGMENTED REALITY(AR)

Augmented Reality(AR), is a technology that adds digital elements to the real world. It enhances our perception of reality by overlaying computer-generated information such as images, videos, or 3D objects onto our surroundings. Unlike virtual reality, which creates an entirely simulated environment, augmented reality blends virtual and real-world elements together.

Imagine wearing a special pair of glasses or looking through the screen of a smartphone. With AR, you can see your physical surroundings as usual, but the technology adds extra information on top of it. For example, you could point your device at a street and see arrows or directions indicating where to go, or you might see virtual objects like furniture placed in your living room to help you visualize how it would look. The digital elements can interact with the real world, such as tracking your movement or responding to your gestures.

MIXED REALITY

Mixed reality is a technology that combines elements of the real world and virtual reality to create immersive experiences. It allows you to interact with virtual objects and digital information while still being aware of your physical surroundings. In other words, mixed reality lets you see and interact with virtual objects in the real world, as if they were actually there with you. This technology blends the virtual and real world together, giving you a sense of presence and enabling new ways to learn, play, and work. It can be experienced through special devices like mixed reality headsets or smartphones with augmented reality capabilities.
